This weekend is the big day: We're at h+h cologne 2026!

From March 20 to 22, Cologne is all about handicraft, textiles and creative making. And we're right in the middle of it.

Where It All Started

In 2025 we visited h+h for the first time. Back then as visitors, full of curiosity and with an app that was still in its early days. We talked to pattern designers, exhibitors and content creators. And we realized: the scene is vibrant and passionate, which really motivated us.

The conversations at the trade show gave us a real boost. Many of the ideas we've since built into PatternScan Pro were born or validated right there.

This Year: Our Interview on Stage

2026 is a bit different. We've been invited to speak on stage at h+h. On Sunday, March 22, from 12:00 to 12:20 PM we'll be talking about: 12 Months, 3 Crises, 1 App: Our Journey to Building a Pattern Digitization App.

If you draft patterns on paper or drape on a dress form, you know the problem: before you can work digitally, there's photographing, correcting distortion, scaling and tracing. We'll share how exactly this frustration turned into a real product. With all the detours and obstacles along the way.

We believe that creative handcraft needs to be protected. In our view, draping and sketching produce entirely different, more creative ideas and designs than working on a laptop. But at some point, every pattern needs a digital file: for grading, for selling, for archiving. That's exactly where we come in. Technology should make analog workflows more accessible, not replace them.

That's what we want to talk about on stage. And we're really looking forward to it.
